Who we are and who we closely work with.
Alexander Khromov, Geschäftsführer und Produzent der Sonic Boom Studios, entdeckte seine Leidenschaft für Musik bereits im Alter von sechs Jahren. Schon früh beherrschte er Instrumente wie Klavier, Gitarre und Akkordeon. Nach seinem erfolgreichen Abschluss als Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Recording Arts spezialisierte er sich auf Komposition, Mixing und Mastering. Seitdem arbeitet er als Engineer und Produzent, sowohl in seinen eigenen Studios als auch für renommierte Unternehmen wie Universal Music und den Lübbe Audio Verlag. Besonders prägend war seine über zehnjährige Tätigkeit als Komponist für das Erfolgs-Hörspiel „John Sinclair“ bei Lübbe Audio.
Als Antwort auf den zunehmenden Mangel an Proberäumen in Berlin bietet Alexander Khromov seit 2017 in seinen Sonic Boom Studios neben den klassischen Dienstleistungen wie Recording, Mix und Mastering auch voll ausgestattete Proberäume zur Nutzung an. Diese stehen entweder wöchentlich im Rahmen einer Mitgliedschaft oder flexibel ohne Mitgliedschaft zur Verfügung und bieten optimale Akustik für musikalische Produktionen und Proben.
Bauherr der Sonic Boom Studios ist verantwortlich für den Ausbau der Proberäume sowie die Planung und Herstellung der Akustikelemente im gesamten Studio. Die Fertigung geschah in Eigenregie in der hauseigenen Werkstatt. Als DoP ist Kalle zusätzlich für die Produktion des Videocontents auf unserem Youtube Kanal zuständig.
Seit Urbeginn dabei, ein langer Typ der viel Schlagzeug spielt. Die Mics der SBS gehören heimlich ihm, aber sie haben lange genug in den Räumlichkeiten gelagert, weshalb dem nicht mehr so ist.
